Terms of use

These terms describe the rules for using artvinci.ro, operated by ArtVinci. By accessing the site, you accept these terms as currently published.

Version 1 · in effect from 18 August 2026

These terms have changed significantly. Version 1 took effect on 18 August 2026 and adds the content rules, how moderation works and the routes for contesting a decision. We recommend reading sections 5–9.

1. Purpose of the site

artvinci.ro presents ArtVinci framing services, the artwork gallery, the frame profile catalogue and contact information. The site is for information and communication with the atelier; orders and appointments are confirmed directly with the ArtVinci team.

2. User accounts

Some features (e.g. a client account) require registration. You are responsible for keeping login credentials confidential and for activity in your account. ArtVinci may suspend accounts used abusively or fraudulently.

3. Content and ownership

Text, images, frame samples and artworks displayed belong to ArtVinci or the artists/partners indicated. Copying, republishing or commercial use without written consent is prohibited, except for personal non-commercial use.

4. Limitations

Information on the site (indicative prices, artwork availability) may be updated without prior notice. ArtVinci makes reasonable efforts for accuracy but does not guarantee the absence of technical errors or temporary unavailability.

5. What content you may upload, and what you may not

The rules below apply to the works, titles, descriptions and tags that artists upload to ArtVinci.

Forbidden content

The following may never be published on ArtVinci. A work in this category is rejected, and the account may be suspended:

  • pornography and explicit sexual content — a sexual act, or an explicit genital close-up for sexual purposes;
  • illegal content, including child sexual abuse material, towards which we have zero tolerance and a duty to escalate to the authorities;
  • incitement to hatred or to violence;
  • content that visibly infringes someone else’s copyright;
  • content in flagrant breach of the values ArtVinci states publicly.

Content permitted with a warning

The following may be published, but only with a warning attached:

  • artistic nude — classical, painted or fine-art photographic;
  • semi-nude and lingerie;
  • suggestive content that is not explicit;
  • artistic violence and heavy themes, such as war or suffering.

These works are tagged „Conținut matur" (mature content), displayed blurred, and stay hidden by default until a visitor deliberately chooses to reveal them.

Content permitted normally

Everything else is published normally, with no tag and no additional restriction.

6. How we moderate content

These are the policies, procedures and tools we use for content moderation:

  • Every work enters a review queue before publication. Nothing becomes public before it has been looked at.
  • The review is carried out by an ArtVinci administrator. The decision is taken by a person.
  • We use no algorithmic decision-making and no automated content classification, at any stage of moderation.
  • On each upload, the artist declares that they hold the rights to the work and that it contains no pornography, illegal content or incitement.
  • We may reject, hide or require the correction of the main image, the title, the description or the tags — each one individually — or of the whole work.
  • Every restriction is communicated together with the reason for it.

We apply restrictions diligently, objectively and proportionately, case by case, having regard to the rights and legitimate interests of everyone involved, including freedom of expression.

7. Complaints and routes of redress

If you disagree with a decision, the following routes are open to you, and these are all the routes that exist:

  • The artist’s contest: if your work was rejected on content-policy grounds, you may contest the decision once. The contest re-opens the case for the administrator, and the administrator’s decision on the contest is final. The route is available for content-policy rejections, and not for purely technical or quality ones.
  • A complaint to ANCOM, the Romanian Digital Services Coordinator.
  • Judicial remedies, before the competent courts in Romania.

ArtVinci operates no internal complaint-handling system within the meaning of art. 20 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065: as a micro-enterprise, it is exempt from the Section 3 obligations. We would rather say so plainly than leave the impression of a route that does not exist.

8. Minors

The service is not directed at minors. Creating an account and publishing works require the legal capacity to conclude the contract, that is, being at least 18 years old.

Works tagged „Conținut matur" (mature content) are hidden by default and become visible only through a deliberate act by the visitor.

9. Reporting illegal content

Any individual or entity can notify us of content they consider illegal, using the form at Report illegal content. No account is needed. The notice is assessed by a person, and if you leave us an email address you receive an acknowledgement of receipt with a reference number and, later, the decision together with information on redress.

Our contact points for authorities and for recipients of the service, ArtVinci's classification, and how we give effect to authority orders are described on the DSA Compliance page.

Significant changes to these terms are announced on this page, together with the version and the date they take effect.

10. Contact

For questions about these terms: office@artvinci.ro, phone 0721-097-323, 48 Șoseaua Iancului, Bucharest, Sector 2, or the form on the Contact page.

11. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Romanian law. Any dispute is resolved amicably where possible; otherwise by the competent courts in Romania.
